SIP desk phones

Any standard SIP desk phone or softphone can ring on your VoiceSuites extension, alongside the apps.

1. In the portal, go to My devices and choose Add SIP device.
2. Give it a name, and pick the Place (for emergency calls) where the phone sits.
3. Choose Set password and enter a password of 8 to 64 characters.
4. In your phone’s setup, enter the Server, Backup server, Port and User / Auth ID shown in the portal, and the password you set.

When the phone registers, its status in My devices changes to Connected.

Note

Use TLS if your phone supports it. The portal shows the port for each transport.
