Website calls

Website calls let visitors call your team straight from their browser. The calls land in the same queues and routing as your phone calls, so your team answers them like any other call.

There are two ways to offer them:

  • Website widget. A call button you add to your website.
  • Call Links. A link you can put in your email signature, invoices, appointment reminders or social profiles.
  • HD voice, clearer than a regular phone call.
  • Auto-reconnect. If the browser closes or the connection drops, the caller has 2 minutes to rejoin the same call.
  • Live chat with the agent, when talking isn’t possible (when the agent answers in the desktop app).
  • Screen share. The agent can ask to see the caller’s screen. The caller chooses whether to share, and can stop at any time. Works in desktop browsers.

Website calls cost 0.5¢ per minute and use your monthly allowance first, then your balance. They don’t need a phone number. See How billing works.

Website calls work once your business has been verified. Until then, callers see a message that the account hasn’t been verified yet.
