Test your system

Every menu and line you create can be called right away, before you buy a number. Testing is free.

Your test access

Section titled “Your test access”

Each line and menu gets:

  • A test phone number to call from any phone.
  • A private access code to enter after it answers.
  • An access phrase you can say instead of typing the code.

Call your system

Section titled “Call your system”
  1. In the portal, open the team line or direct line and choose Test This Line.
  2. Call the test number from any phone.
  3. Enter the access code, or say the access phrase.
  4. You’ll hear exactly what your callers will hear.

To skip the code when you call from your own mobile, add it as a bypass number under Skip the Access Code.

To answer test calls as an agent, sign in to the desktop app or the web app. If no one is online, test calls go to voicemail after 60 seconds.

Test together

Share the test number, access code or access phrase with teammates so they can call from different phones and places. Try real situations:

  • The hold experience
